Make your reservations, encourage your friends to come on up! The recommended hotel is The Buffalo Lodge in Manitou Springs - They have always been great to us. If you must stay somewhere else, use the internet to find a place close to downtown. Friday, June 6 - The calm before. 9:00 am- Breakfast - Wooglin's Deli (823 N Tejon) 10:00- am garage sale ride 1:00 pm- Lunch at La’au’s Taco’s (830 n. Tejon) 3:00pm- Siesta time at Bristol Brewing Co (1647 S Tejon) or Patty Jewett Restaurant (900 E. Espanola St.) - people's choice. 8:00pm- The Triple Nickel Tavern (26 S. Wahsatch) - Meet, Greet, Register for the rally and get settled in (21 with id only) Saturday, June 7 - Batten down the hatches. 9:30am- Ride from the Buffalo Lodge to the Last Chance Scooter Ranch (2212 N. Cascade) for Gretchen's Fabulous Brunch. 10:00am- Gretchen's Fabulous Brunch featuring featuring bagels from Olde World Bagel, quiche from Wooglin's and Ravens Nest Coffee - mmmmmmm!. 12:00noon- Pokenger Runt. This is a $2 Peak SC tradition not to be skipped. It combines a scavenger hunt with a poker run (no 50cc scoots on this ride please). 3:00pm- Post Pokenger BBQ at the Buffalo Lodge- free food, beer, mechanics challenge, good times, you know how we do. 8:00pm- Ride from the Buffalo Lodge to the Rocket Room (wahsatch & cimmaron) 8:00pm- Party at the Rocket Room (wahsatch & cimmaron) with The Jack Trades and The Kissing Disease . Once again, we'll take care of the beer- we don't just F around. Sunday, June 8 - Full mandatory evacuation. 11am- Meet at La Casita (306 S. 8th Street) for margaritas and breakfast. La Casita is becoming an MOU tradition and the breakfast margs are to die for. 12:30pm- Mike Loop Ride. The rumors may or may not be true, but this COULD be ONE of the LAST Mike Loop rides EVER - not to be missed. Everyone is welcome, but 50cc scooter riders may get ditched (just being realistic) 2pm- Will's Sports Pub (424 S Nevada Ave) Gather one last time for a few cocktails, some food, and the big awards ceremony - Find out who will be crowned Rally Champion |
